BENFIT transnational project meeting in Skopje, North Macedonia
The first on-site transnational meeting of the project took place on the premises of the project leader - Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia, on February 15-17, 2023. The participants of the project – Ss. Cyril and Methodius University (North Macedonia), EKA University of Applied Sciences (Latvia), University of Zagreb (Croatia), University of Peloponnese (Greece) and “Asociacia na Prepodavatelite po Ikonomika i Upravlenie v Industriata” (Bulgaria) - discussed the intellectual outputs of the project and the project implementation stages, including the activities for the next period. The participants approved the outputs of work package 1 on the project aims, methodology, and management issues. The participants also commenced work on work package 2, reviewing national legislation, policies, and practices on inclusive education for people with special needs, especially in the higher education sector. Additionally, the quality assurance system of the project was approved.
The EKA University of Applied Sciences was represented by Prof. Jeļena Titko, Vice-rector for Science, and Dr. Kristīne Užule, researcher.
The next on-site transnational meeting was agreed upon to take place at the University of Zagreb in September 2023 to discuss the development of the practical outputs of the project.
