From May 22nd to 24th, 2024, EKA University of Applied Sciences made its inaugural appearance at the EUMMAS (European Marketing and Management Association) A2S Conference on Global Social and Technological Development and Sustainability in Bucharest, Romania.

Represented by its Vice Rector for Sciences and International Development, Dr. Jelena Titko, and Head of EKA Scientific Institution Development, Dr. Jevgenija Dehtjare, this marked a significant milestone for the institution.

The conference, organized by the EUMMAS Academic Consortium comprising over 30 universities and business schools, focused on the theme "Navigating the New Frontier: Responsible Innovation, Circular Economy, and Digitalization of Business and Public Administration Sectors in the Era of AI and Big Data".
