Project meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria
On June 3 and 4, 2024, the EKA University of Applied Sciences (EKA) participated in the international BENEFIT project partner meeting held in Sofia, Bulgaria. EKA was represented by vice-rector for science, professor Jelena Titko and researcher, associate professor Kristine Uzule.
Coordinated by Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia, the BENEFIT project includes partners from Latvia, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Greece. During the meeting, partners evaluated the quality of the developed informational platform featuring a collection of digital tools available on the global net for people with special needs. The participants also discussed a new short cycle course for higher education staff on the goals and benefits of using the new platform. This platform represents an innovative approach to creating an inclusive higher education environment.
