UnWaste Final meeting ONLINE, December 2024
UnWaste project (Advancing circular economy in partner countries by development and implementation of Master programme "Waste management") partners met on December 23, 2024 online to participate in the project Final meeting devoted to the main outcomes and sharing feedback.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of all partner institutions from Europe - Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) and EKA University of Applied Sciences (Latvia), and from the Republic of Kazakhstan - A.Baytursynov Kostanay State University, Sh.Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University, Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University.
EKA University of Applied Sciences (EKA) was represented by EKA UnWaste project Latvian team leader – EKA Vice-rector for science and international cooperation Dr. Jelena Titko.
During the meeting Kazakh partners shared the final results of the project, focusing on main deliverables and project impact. The main project result is the development of Master programmes in the field of waste management: "Sustainable Management of Natural Resources" programme at Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University, the "Waste Management" programme at Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University, and the "Geoecology and Environmental Management" programme at A. Baytursynov Kostanay State University. The partners also planned a final internal survey for evaluation of project quality perceived by the participants.
UnWaste is financed and supported by the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Union Capacity building in the field of higher education (Project ref. No. 618715-EPP-1-2020-1-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).
