МЕЖДУНАРОДНОЕ СОТРУДНИЧЕСТВО
СТРАТЕГИЯ ИНТЕРНАЦИОНАЛИЗАЦИИ
Основная цель ЕКА в интернационализации — повысить международную конкурентоспособность университета, содействуя международной мобильности студентов и преподавателей, укрепляя международное сотрудничество и обеспечивая его долговечность, привлекая иностранных преподавателей и поддерживая интеграцию иностранных студентов в Университете, способствуя тем самым международной узнаваемости Университета и создавая многокультурную среду высококачественного образования.
Видение интернационализации ЕКА:
EKA в 2020 году — это международно конкурентоспособный и признанный, ориентированный на науку и инновации университет:
- где к научной и академической работе привлечены международно признанные и квалифицированные сотрудники;
- где создана мультикультурная среда, и учащиеся и преподаватели которого являются конкурентоспособными на внутреннем и внешнем рынке;
- где регулярно проходят международные научные и творческие мероприятия;
- который активно в области научных исследований и процессе обучения сотрудничает с другими университетами, институтами и работодателями в Латвии и за рубежом.
В 2017 году была разработана Стратегия интернационализации ЕКА для 2018-2020 (EKAIS2020), в которой определены приоритеты интернационализации:
- Международная мобильность студентов и преподавателей
- Международное сотрудничество в области обучения, научных исследований и творческой деятельности
- Расширение международного измерения
- Международная узнаваемость

INTERNATONAL ACADEMIC WEEK (IAW)
On April 19-23, 2021, EKA University of Applied Sciences and Alberta College organizes an International Academic Week 2021!
International Academic Week is an academic event organized to encourage internationalization of the study process at the EKA University of Applied Sciences and Alberta College. It will be a great opportunity for students to improve their ability to acquire knowledge and to communicate in the international environment.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions IAW2021 will be organized online in Zoom and Moodle platform.

STAFF TRAINING WEEK (STW)
Staff Training Week “Training on Academic Writing and Research Methods” was organized in September 21-24, 2021 by EKA University of Applied Sciences (Riga, Latvia).
STW 2021 programme contained several workshops about research design, research paper structure and an application of research methods. Besides, participants had the opportunity to meet journal editors and ask the questions about reviewing and publishing process.

19 participants from 9 countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Bangladesh) worked within research groups mentored by experienced researchers - Professor Jelena Titko and Professor Velga Vevere from the EKA University of Applied Sciences (Latvia), Professor Anna Svirina from Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev – KAI (Russia), Associate Professor Viktorija Skvarciany from VILNIUS TECH (Lithuania).
STW2021 yielded four research idea to work on within the established groups of researchers:
- THE ROLE OF GAMIFICATION FOR CIRCULAR ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES (N.Appalonova (Russia), I.Shina (Latvia), V.Prilenska (Latvi), G.Conti (Italy).

- IMPACT OF INCOMING CULTURE TOURISM COMPANY SUSTAINABILITY: LATVIA, GERMANY AND CZECH REPUBLIC CASES (V.Vevere (Latvia), V.Zarina (Latvia), J.Gemeinhardt (Germany), L.Jarolimkova (Czech Republic)
- CULTURAL ECONOMICS ASSESSMENT MODEL (K.Astike (Lithuania), E.Cerkovskis (Latvia), K.Steinbergs (Latvia), S.Juhasova (Slovakia), N.A.Siddik (Bangladesh).
