SPIDE project has been successfully finalized

On December 30, 2018, the international project Strategic Partnership for Innovation and Development of Entrepreneurship (SPIDE), in which the University of Economics and Culture (EKA) has been participated since 2017, was finished.

The final meeting of all the partners was organized by the project Coordinator - Integrated Business Institute and took place in Skopje (R.Macedonia) on December 5-6, 2018. During the meeting representatives of all partner organizations - University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), University of Public Administration in Kehl (Germany) and the University of Economics and Culture (Latvia) – shared their experience regarding the participation in SPIDE activities and main achievements during the project period.

Participation in SPIDE project had a great impact on EKA study process quality improvement, in particular:

  • Awareness raising among EKA academic staff about the student-centred approach to teaching
  • Digitalization of study process
  • Gamification in study process
  • Increase of staff competencies to motivate and inspire students
  • Increase of students’ presentation skills and business idea generation skills
  • Improved collaboration with business sector
  • Promotion of staff creativity

SPIDE was financed and supported by the European Commission, Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnership (grant agreement No. 2016-1-MK01-KA203-021666).
