The EKA participates in "InVent" project partner meeting in Celje
Erasmus+ strategic partnerships program’s project InVent (“Partnership to develop VET educators in event management with learner-centred approach”) partner meeting was held in the second half of March in Celje, Slovenia.
Vice-Rector Associate Professor Jeļena Titko and a study programme director Kaspars Šteinbergs represented The EKA University of Applied Sciences at the meeting. In addition, Latvia was represented by manager of Latvian Cultural Workers Society and specialist of the project Dita Pfeifere and alumni of The EKA “Cultural Management” study programme Rita Kaipšteina.
During the meeting participants discussed current situation of the project, further tasks and talked about developed study materials for workers of the event area. Lecturer of “Cultural Management” study programme Jeļena Budanceva has created study materials about human resources management in the event organisation. The closing meeting of the project is planned to take place in Hannover, Germany this autumn. However, a public event with a presentation of the results of the project is already planned for June.
