Steering Board meeting in Riga
On September 12-13, 2022, within the framework of the international project “Accelerating ICT students′ start-up development competence via interdisciplinary modular courses in the HEI curricula” (UXiship), EKA University of Applied Sciences hosted project partners.
Representatives of the Wismar University of Applied Sciences - Germany (prof. Gunnar Prause), the Tallinn University of Technology - Estonia (Wolfgang Dieter Gerstlberger) and the Almaty Management University – Kazakhstan (Timur Bakybayev) participated physically, but other project partners’ representatives joined the meeting via MS Teams.
An overall aim of the meeting was to discuss the project progress, further action plan and amendments to the UXiship project due to the termination of partnership with Russian partners, and gain approval from all project partners before submitting these amendments to Brussels.

After the discussion on budget issues, Gunnar Prause focused on the proposed amendments to the UXhiship project.

- Work package 3 “Quality assurance” – Ahmet Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University
- Work package 4 “Dissemination & Exploitation” – Almaty Management University
- Work package 5 “Management” – Wismar University of Applied Sciences
Partners also discussed travelling issues from European Universities to Kazakh Universities and from Kazakhstan to Riga, Tallinn and Wismar. It was decided that all visits should be organised before June 2023.
