EKA academic staff continues to participate in the Train-the-Trainer program within the framework of the international project "Network IQ Alliance"

Within the framework of the work package "Train-the-trainer", representatives of the academic staff of EKA - Edgars Čerkovskis, director of the master′s study program "Circular Economics and Social Entrepreneurship" and Assistant Professor, researcher Kristīne Užule, Ph.D. - participated in the training program "Assessment and Management of Network Intelligence (NI)" in order to further train EKA students and academic staff on how to improve digital competencies by developing networking IQ, create and maintain professional social networks in the digital environment for the purpose of achieving study and work mission goals.

Edgars Cherkovskis about participation in the program:

"Participation in the "Network IQ Train-The-Trainer" program provides opportunities to understand the need for networking and public image building according to European and developed world best practices. As a result of the training, knowledge and skills will be acquired, which will help popularize the image of the EKA academic study program "Circular economy and social entrepreneurship" in the education sector of Latvia and Europe. The contacts established within the course will make it possible to improve the network of EKA cooperation partners and organize new cooperation projects according to the latest networking trends".

Kristine Užule for participation in the program:

"Participation in this program raises the level of digital competences and develops the networking competences necessary for professional activity in the digital environment. As a result of the training, an understanding of the development and application of a networking strategy in various communication contexts and of identifying and correcting digital weaknesses was gained. The acquired knowledge will be useful in attracting new international partners and developing new projects."
